About What Golf Pays

Golf earnings figures disagree because they count different things. What Golf Pays shows what every total includes, and lets you switch the parts on and off.

What this site is

What Golf Pays tracks professional golf prize money: every PGA Tour payout, each player's career and season earnings, and how the money is spread across the field, from the winner to the last player to make the cut. It reaches back through the money lists to 1958 and every major payout on record to 1934, with the legends of the game.

Totals are always labeled. "Official prize money" is the default, and FedEx Cup bonuses are kept separate so you can add them yourself. DP World Tour and LIV Golf earnings are on the way.

The site is independent. It isn't affiliated with the PGA TOUR, the DP World Tour, LIV Golf or any player.

How the numbers are collected, cleaned and checked is on the methodology page.
